I received my Ph.D. in English Literature from Georgia State University and am currently a lecturer at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

My research focuses on the literature of Victorian Britain and twentieth-century South Asia. I study the cultures, languages, religions, and folklore belonging to these regions through feminist methodologies that are interdisciplinary in nature.
